I'm still fucked up about season 3 episode 4 of the umbrella academy, specifically the part where five finds out that he is the one who founded the temps commission, the organization that tortured him and forced him into being a killer, this conglomerate that he has been complaining about the entire time, this entity that stripped him of a lot of his humanity and made it so that he can't even fully connect with the very people he is trying to get back to. It's a competition, of sorts- a high score of rides rode and a speedrun to get to the line first. Even if he just gets hyped for Super Nintendo World, I imagine he'd have fun planning hypothetical theme park trips, let alone things like rollercoaster tycoon and. It would also just generally be an excuse to iron out some of his personal pet peeves- no pay to win line cutters, no reskins of rides, no cheap ip heavy rides (unless, he imagines, he ever gets a call from a video game company he likes). People who show up for rope drop, people who know not to eat at the lunch rush, people who want to know the stats of every coaster not just to see what's the fastest, longest, most airtime etc but that so they can legitimately compare them and plan their trip around it. I saw a few posts out there having the headcanon that he's something of a coaster fan, and while I have only personally been to a park that is more rollercoaster focused than theme focused twice, I would imagine that would make the idea of a 'theme park for smart people' be something along the lines of a theme park designed for those who already know the tips and tricks.

I don't have a picture to go along with this post, but I've been thinking about Berdly's 'smart boy theme park' and kinda wondering what that would entail.
